Study 03 / Digital & identity

A place to look.

A gallery interface that gives the artwork room to lead.

The question

How can an interface guide attention without competing with the work?

This gallery concept starts with a straightforward visitor journey: see a work, understand its context, then choose where to go next. The screen is a frame for that sequence.

Inside the study

Three deliberate choices.

  • Gallery direction
  • Content hierarchy
  • Responsive composition
01

Work before interface

The gallery grid carries most of the visual information. Navigation and captions stay compact, while the artworks hold the colour.

02

Context alongside the image

A title and short descriptive label sit close to each piece. They remain useful at small sizes and do not depend on a hover interaction.

03

A frame that can change

A regular desktop grid becomes a single reading sequence on a narrow screen. The content order stays understandable when the composition changes.
